I am noticing it and I say, "Oh, hell naw!" I am a sovereign being and choose where I put my energy, and how I effect the world!

Our families will receive the most deeply meaningful gifts as a result, and there will be an energy of true healing and magick that we will get to weave them into!

Where we spend our money makes a difference. We can either support our local circles (give a gift certificate to a local restaurant, massage therapist, tarot reader, etc.) or we give our money and energy to corporation who have a legal obligation to make decisions that hurt the environment and make money for their shareholders. These big companies are targeting us all with their Black Friday seduction deals, but the truth is, there is a high environmental & spiritual cost to pay for the low price. 

This awesome video called "The Story of Stuff" shines a light on what happens to the things we buy. It came out a few years ago and the folks behind it have a lineup of many other amazing, easily digestible and empowering short videos on their website. The videos are a great resource about the effects of consumption and what is working to remedy the problem, too. Show it to your kids and family and make a conscious decision to do your holidays differently this year!
